HY molecular sieve refers to a Y-type zeolite in which the sodium ions in the framework have been replaced by hydrogen ions, resulting in an HY crystal structure. It is a type of aluminosilicate with hydrogen in its framework.
It is primarily used as an active component in the preparation of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts or hydrocracking catalysts.
